We collect information you provide directly to us: account registration details (name, email, password hashes), student team application info (skills, department, availability), event registration details (roll number, custom form responses), and startup details (founder name, one-liner, description, category, logo uploads).

Your information is used to facilitate E-Cell activities: reviewing applications for team recruitment and startup recognition, displaying approved startups/members on our public pages, generating event tickets/passes and secure check-in QR codes, and emailing newsletters and transactional confirmations via Resend.
3. Data Integrity & Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers essential for our operations (e.g., Neon Tech for database storage, Cloudinary for image hosting, and Resend for event notifications). All integrations are configured securely.
4. Security Measures
We implement robust security standards to safeguard your data, including secure password hashing (bcryptjs), authentication sessions powered by NextAuth, route-level authorization checks, and network rate-limiting to prevent automated brute-force attacks on our APIs.
5. Communications & Mailing
If you register for an event or show interest, you may receive updates. Admin users utilize our campaign mailing suite to merge dynamic recipient fields and dispatch updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential promotional mailings at any time by contacting our workspace administrators.
6. Your Rights & Choices
